New works by our gallery artists
Artists featured in this show: Charles Jupiter Hamilton, Anne Shreve, Barry Vance
New works by West Virginians Susan Petryszak, Paula Clendenin, Charles Jupiter Hamilton, John Fluharty, Brittain McJunkin, Alison Helm, Greg Siler, Robin McClintock, Stan Sporny and Barrie Kaufman are on the walls, along with transplanted West Virginians Barry Vance and Anne Shreve.
Virginia painters Ann Lyne, John Borden Evans, Elizabeth Geiger, Ron Boehmer, Frank Hobbs, Robert Stuart, Steve Bickley, Ray Kass and Beverly Rhoads are included as well. Works on paper by Stephen Assael, Willy Heeks, Aline Feldman, Yvonne Jacquette, Pat Steir, Caio Fonseca, Stuart Shils, Robert Motherwell and others are also exhibited. In addition, we continue to work with Portraits Inc. in New York.
We are pleased to bring to your attention two art events set for this winter: Gallery artist Barry Vance will be featured in a solo show, "Dwelling in the Back Country" at the Cultural Center at the West Virginia Capitol Complex in February and March. Also in February, the gallery will present selections by early 20th century modernists Blanche Lazzell and Jan Matulka, contemporaneously with the exhibition of their work at the Avampato Discovery Museum.
