Dear Friend of the gallery,
We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here in the loft at 219 Hale Street. Your support of the gallery these last two years has helped us triumph in a challenging economy, as we've inspired you in 13 great shows. We have loved seeing you at ArtWALK and at openings; your visible and financial support for the artists and their creativity has been much appreciated.
I am disappointed to confirm that we have lost our lease again. Stray Dog Antiques is expanding their business to the 2nd floor in April. We are happy for Charleston that this great creative space will not go dark, and we wish them every success. We have so enjoyed the look on visitors' faces as they take in the surroundings and the urban ambiance. It has truly been a pleasure to be here. The artists, too, have loved the environment.
We hope you will join us for the March 18th Art Walk, and we will remain open until March 20th. In the following weeks, we will be moving to a warehouse space, where we shall continue to work by appointment. Please visit our website for updates.
Our loss of lease presents an extraordinary opportunity for you. We are offering collector's incentives of 20% - 40% on some of your favorite artists, and on highly desirable current works in all media: works on paper (photography, prints, drawings), sculpture and paintings*.
I can't thank you enough for your past support and friendship. I will continue to work for you, and for the artists we represent, as we search for a new great space. In the interim, I will be available as a private dealer.
